I forgot to mention...
While we were home, some of my wonderful friends hosted a couples Holiday baby shower for Hudson, Guy, and me. Everyone brought their favorite children's book and a gift card...it was perfect. My friend Monica opened up her beautiful new home for the event. Everything was decorated beautifully and the food was delicious!! I don't have pics yet, but will get them posted as soon as I do!!
Name Change

So...after much more consideration we have decided to change our little man's name. We actually did this a few month ago, I just haven't posted yet. This is for sure the final decision. I really liked Wyatt, however Guy wasn't totally sold on it, but we both LOVE...

Hudson Ellis

I told Guy that we have to go and get his Diaper bag embroidered so he can't change his mind:) I don't think there will be any mind changing on this one though...we both really love it and can't wait to meet little Hudson:)
Christmas
We had a wonderful Christmas this year! Guy and I were both able to take off 2 weeks so we spent lots of time with both sides of the family and friends. I completely forgot my camera so the only pictures I have are ones that others took:( I'm so sad. I really have to get better at this picture taking thing before Hudson gets here. So, unfortunately we don't have any pics with Guy's side of the family. We spent the first part of the break at Guy's parents house enjoying just relaxing, watching movies by the fire, and a delicious Christmas Eve dinner. Guy's dad makes the yummiest pancakes, the size of your plate I might add, so we woke up to that on Christmas morning! Delicious!!! My parents came and picked us up that afternoon and we made the drive to Montgomery, TX where my grandparents live, for Christmas dinner. We enjoyed dinner with the whole family, all 19 of us, then had our annual Chinese gift exchange and spent the rest of the evening playing games. We returned to Dallas on Saturday and spent the rest of the time at my parents house and hanging out with close friends. We had our yearly New Year's with some of our best friends, the O'Steens...accompanied by a little Wii, Jokers and Marbles, chocolate fondue, and Pomegranate Martini's (which I did not partake in)...next year:) Overall, we had such a wonderful time and finally made our way back to California on the 3rd!

Thanksgiving

Ok...so I haven't posted in a really long time...sorry about that, but I'm about to play catch up...starting with Thanksgiving. We had a non traditional Thanksgiving this year and met my parents, brother, sister-in-law, and niece in Las Vegas. Since we fly home for Christmas for an extended period of time we usually don't fly home for Thanksgiving as well. My brother and his family live in Arizona about an hour outside of Vegas. Since my parents have to fly into Vegas in order to get to my brothers we thought we'd just park it there for Turkey day this year. It was a very laid back time full of eating, site-seeing, hiking, a little gambling, and football watching. It was a great time, but I'm looking forward to a more traditional Thanksgiving with our new little man next year!
